Song for the day: Hard Times by Paramore
Because it’s AMAZING.
So not much to say this week other than the now-expected “how is it Wednesday again already??!!??!”
But seriously. How?
Today I have been dealing with aggressive customers who actually left me shaken. As in I had to take a break with a sugary drink shaken. As such, I am looking for reading and writing material to take my mind off it.
Thankfully, this week’s Top 5 Wednesdays is authors whose work I want to read more of, which might help focus my mind a bit…
So, here we go:
1// Leigh Bardugo
I love the stories she weaves in the SOC stories, and I really want to delve into the Grisha world a bit more.
2// Nikita Gill
I know, I know, technically she’s a poet, not an author, but I crave her words. They’re just so beautiful! I could drink in her writing forever.
3// Sarah J. Maas
I really like the world built in ACOTAR, and the magic woven into it. I’m interested to see if the same magic appears in the TOG series too.
4// Paula Hawkins
Admit it, you were hooked. I want more of that page-turning, gripping writing that kept me on the edge of my seat please.
5// Maggie Stiefvater
I know I won’t shut up about how this series makes me feel at home and how it’s perfect for me but I want to read more like that. I really want to read TSR!
So, I’ve shown you mine. It’s your turn 😉
